Helpful tips
- I use light cream in this cocktail but you can substitute milk, half & half, or if you really want to be decadent, heavy cream.
- If you are lactose intolerant, substitute an alternative milk like almond, rice, etc.
- Creme de cacao comes in two forms: white (clear) and dark. To make this cocktail work, you can only use the white creme de cacao.
- I use Godiva brand but you can substitute any brand of white chocolate liqueur.
- I garnish with those colorful balls that you sprinkle on cupcakes (aka rainbow nonpareils). You can find them in the baking aisle. This is optional.
- How to garnish this cocktail: Pour a small amount of the rainbow nonpareils on a small, flat plate. Dip your finger in a little simple syrup and rub it along the outside rim of the glass. Dip the glass rim into the balls and then gently shake it to dislodge any loose balls.
