Skillet Chocolate Chip Cookie
This skillet chocolate chip cookie recipe is so delicious. It’s ooey, gooey and fun to serve at your next dinner party.
Talk about yummy! This skillet cookie is incredibly delicious and super easy to make. I know that skillet cookies have been a craze lately, but I ate my first one years ago. I only started making them recently.
Do I remember the restaurant where I got this delectable dessert? No. I only remember it was a chain restaurant. I saw it on the menu and planned my meal around getting that cookie into my belly. By that I mean, I knew when I ordered (and I got a burger smothered in onions and mushrooms – yes, I always remember what I order – it’s a curse), I would be taking at least half of my dinner home.
The waiter brought my dessert in a cute little skillet with a scoop of ice cream plopped on top. I hastily scraped the ice cream off my cookie and on to a little plate because I don’t like to mix the two. I never really liked ice cream on my cake either, even as a child.
My tastes are strange like that. Did I eat the ice cream? Yes. But only after I ate the cookie.
Another fun skillet cookie recipe is my brownie version!
