Slow Cooker Pork Chops
Slow cooker pork chops are a convenient, easy, and affordable way to enjoy a tender, juicy, and flavorful meal. Just throw all your ingredients in the slow cooker in the morning, and dinner will be ready when you get home.
I love that I can place ingredients into my slow cooker or crock-pot, set the timer, leave the house, and have a home-cooked meal on the table soon after I get home. I also love that slow-cooked pork chops come out tender and juicy.
The flavor of the ingredients mixed together makes for a very satisfying meal. The sauce is delicious and you can ladle it over mashed potatoes, egg noodles, or do what we do here in our household by using it as base stock to make brown rice for hubby’s weekly lunch.

Tips
- I almost always set the slow cooker to high when I use it, but you could cook these boneless pork chops on low, in which case, set the cooking time for 4 hours.
- Alternatively, you can use bone-in pork chops and set the cooking time using this recipe at high for 3 hours.
- If you want your crock pot pork chops to be seared, you can always sear them in a skillet with some olive oil. Only sear for 2 minutes on each side.
- The pork chops I use are from ButcherBox. I love their meat, and I have found that I get fork-tender chops more often than not. They are approximately 1 1/2 inch thick cut pork chops.
- If you don’t want as much sauce as it is written, you can omit the condensed cream of chicken soup.
- And if you like a thicker gravy/sauce, you can make a slurry to thicken it.
- If you have leftovers, you can store them in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week and in the freezer for three months.
How to make slow cooker pork shops
Pre-step
Get out your slow cooker or crockpot.
Step one
Prep the meat by unpackaging and patting the thick-cut pork chops dry with multiple paper towels.
Step two
Gather the ingredients – boneless pork chops, onion, mushrooms, cream of mushroom soup, cream of chicken soup, salt, and pepper.
Step three
Peel and dice the onion and place it in the slow cooker container.
Step four
Wash and slice the mushrooms into chunks. Add them to the onions. (A)
Step five
Place the pork chops on top of the vegetables. (B)
Step six
Pour the two condensed soups on top of the pork chops. (C) Sprinkle one teaspoon of thyme, parsley, salt, and pepper on the pork chops. (D)
Step seven
Don’t stir; you will do so midway through cooking.
Cover the slow cooker and set it to high and the timer for 2 hours.
Step eight
After one hour, open the lid, stir the contents of the slow cooker, and flip the pork chops.
Step nine
After two hours, open the lid and use a meat thermometer to check the internal temperature of the pork chops. You want the temperature to read at least 165 degrees Fahrenheit.
If the chops haven’t reached the correct temperature, add 30 minutes to the timer.
My tender pork chops took 2 hours.
Transfer to a serving bowl.
Time to plate the chops.
Make sure to ladle both mushrooms, onions, and the delicious broth.
Now for a bite.
Perfect.
I hope you enjoyed this slow cooker pork chop recipe. We love this meal and look forward to it each time.
