Chili Cheese Dip
This easy chili cheese dip recipe is made with just 3 ingredients and comes together in under 30 minutes. It’s rich, creamy, and cheesy for the ultimate game day appetizer!
When we went to my brother and sister-in-law’s house recently, they served us this dip. I wanted to bring lobster dip, but Bob said, “Wait until you taste this. The flavor is out of this world.”
I was intrigued. So, I froze the ingredients to my lobster dip and waited patiently.
They call it “Loomis Dip,” because my brother works at a private high school. They also call it “team dip” since they serve it to the girl’s swim team, which my brother coaches.
Whatever it’s called it is deliciousness in a casserole dish. But I knew I couldn’t name it that either because no one would find it when they looked up “chili cheese dip” on the Internet. So, chili cheese dip it is.
I’ve since heard it is also called skyline dip.
With only three ingredients, this is a super easy recipe that takes very little time to prepare. And it is so delicious that my brother says the swim team girls fight over who gets to lick the bowl after it’s been gobbled up.

- You can also add some color by sprinkling chopped green onions on top.
- My brother made this in a 9 inch pie plate, but I chose to use a see-through casserole dish.
- This recipe serves 5 people comfortably as an appetizer, so if you have more guests than that, double the recipe.
