Strawberry Mango Smoothie
Nutrition
A refreshing and vibrant blend of flavors, this strawberry mango smoothie recipe is perfect for a healthy start your day or as a revitalizing snack. Combining the natural sweetness of ripe strawberries with the tropical taste of juicy mangoes, this smoothie is delicious and nutritious.

I can have a smoothie every day, and I often do in the spring and summertime. I have three on rotation: this recipe, blueberry smoothie, and spinach smoothie.
I think one of the reasons I love smoothies so much, other than their creamy texture, is that they remind me of ice cream shakes. I love me a shake or frappe.
And there is nothing more refreshing than sipping this strawberry mango smoothie in the sweltering heat.

Helpful tips
- Use ripe, fresh fruit for the best flavor. Frozen fruit works well, too, and adds a thick, icy texture.
- Wash your strawberries well, as they are in the top ten highest pesticide fruits. Here are good guidelines.
- Trader Joe’s has really good frozen mango and frozen strawberries, though I prefer fresh.
- Here is a site I recommend to learn how to cut a mango.
- You can add a banana for extra creaminess and natural sweetness, which I didn’t do in this recipe.
- Use a high-speed blender to ensure a smooth, lump-free consistency. I made this smoothie with a Ninja Bullet blender so you can see some ice bits. Truthfully, my Vitamix does a better job.
- You can use almond milk, as I did, or the milk of your choice, like oat milk, coconut milk, coconut water, or regular milk as the liquid base for different flavor variations.
- If you want to keep this smoothie dairy-free, substitute vegan yogurt for the Greek yogurt.
- Blend in some chia seeds or flaxseeds for added fiber and omega-3 fatty acids.
- You could add a protein powder to this smoothie, but if you do, use something without a really strong taste, like chocolate or peanut butter. It tastes delicious as is.
