How happy am I to get free booze in the mail? Happy as a clam!!
I was contacted by the Bom Bom liquor brand a few weeks ago. They know I post weekly cocktail recipes, so they wanted to introduce me to their Bom Bom brand and describe what their liquor tasted like. I expressed interest and they graciously asked if they could send me some of their liqueur.
Of course, I said, “No, thank you.”
Just kidding!
I told them that I would love to get some free booze. The words I used were more lady like, but you get the drift.
In less than a week I received a big box in the mail. It was much bigger than I imagined it was going to be and you should have seen the way I tore into that box. I pealed back the flaps like a little kid, giggling hysterically and clapping my hands together.
I thought they would only send me one bottle of their liqueur but NO, they sent me two!! Holy MOLY!! How generous!
One of the bottles was the Bom Bom Coco Mochanut that I used in this cocktail and the other was a bottle of their Bom Bom Nilli Vanilli liqueur.
Score!
I also received a personalized letter from Eva Maria and Kevin, the owners and creators of these amazing liqueurs, which was lovely. They thanked me for my interest in Bom Bom and shared how the brand was born.
One fun fact is that the Bom Bom company received 94 points by the International Review of Spirits; the highest score in its category!! Yay Bom Bom!! Congrats!

I decided to make the BomTini cocktail from one of the recipe cards that arrived with the bottles. So, this isn’t one of Lainey’s original, off-the-rails recipes. No sir!
When I blog later about the Bom Bom Nilli Vanilli liqueur later, that will be my own concoction.
Why did I decide to make an established recipe? Because it looked so darned delicious!
You be the judge.
How to make the BomTini cocktail
We have the famed Bom Bom Coco Mochanut, front and center! You can see that it says, “Premium Caribbean rum, cream and chocolate, coconut and coffee flavors.”
Yum, right?
You can also see a shot of vanilla vodka, some chocolate bits and some whipped cream in the background.
Let’s get started.
I grab my cocktail shaker and fill it halfway with ice. Next, I measure out 3 ounces of the Bom Bom Coco Mochanut.
Look at it!! It looks so good!
I will confess that I did take a little sip of the Coco Mochanut because I just had to see what it tasted like. I wanted to see if it did indeed taste like rum, coconut, chocolate and coffee.
It does
Woohoo! I pour the Bom Bom Coco Mochanut into the shaker.
I get the vanilla vodka that I already measured out.
Next, I pour it into the shaker to meet up with the Bom Bom.
I then cap the shaker and shake the contents for 30 seconds and then I pour it into my martini glass.
Nice and frothy and delicious looking.
I shaved chocolate chips as my garnish because I wanted the flakes to be small, but if you want bigger flakes, just shave a bigger piece of chocolate.
Now, I squirt a little whipped cream in the BomTini.
The BomTini cocktail didn’t look quite complete so I put another squirt of whipped cream in it.
Let’s now look at the vertical view!
You can make this different each time. Try substituting a variety of flavored vodkas, like espresso, vanilla or chocolate. Great idea, right?!
After tasting the BomTini cocktail, I decided that I chose correctly. Yay me!
I hope you enjoyed this recipe!
And as always, may all your dishes/drinks be delish!

This looks like a fabulous drink…I love free booze, especially when you make it look so good.
Thanks so much Sandi!!
This would be a great drink to sip on during tonight.
It would. So delicious! Thank you Jacque!
Mmmm! That looks so yummy, Elaine! How lucky are you, getting free booze in the mail!! Score!!
Woot Woot!! Thanks Beth!
That looks like a seriously rich liqueur — and I’m really digging the flavor profile. My only issue is the martini glass — it’s just asking to be spilled down my front — I’m such a klutz!
Haha Lisa! Maybe a coupe glass? Or a bib? 😉
I haven’t heard of Bom Bom before, but it sounds like a great flavor combo. Cheers!
It’s an awesome liqueur!! Cheers, Katie!!
Go Bom Bom!! This is such a fun cocktail recipe! Who’d a thunk you can improve upon the delish Coco Mochanut?
