Helpful tips
Fresh lemon juice is best, but lime juice is a suitable substitute.
For an extra spicy kick, add seeded jalapeños or increase the chipotle powder.
This avocado dip can be used anywhere you’d normally serve guacamole.
Always wash fruit before juicing or using as garnish to remove pesticides.
To clean fruit: Use a fruit/vegetable cloth—scrub with the rough side, then rinse and dry.
Or wash with unscented natural soap, scrub with a vegetable brush, rinse, and dry.
Cilantro often holds dirt or sand. Swirl it in a bowl of cold water, shake off excess, and blot dry on paper towels.
Garlic paste works well, but fresh garlic cloves are also a great option.
For a pourable version, replace Greek yogurt with sour cream and increase the oil to ¾ cup.
Switch up the flavor by using fresh basil or parsley instead of cilantro.
