This Mrs Claus cocktail recipe is creamy, smooth and delicious. With only three ingredients, not only is it easy but it screams 'holiday cocktail' and is perfect to serve during this festive season.
rainbow sprinkles(bought at the grocery store in the cake decorating section.)
edible gold hearts(optional - I bought mine at a craft store like "Michaels")
Instructions
Fill a cocktail shaker halfway with ice and get your glassware.
Add white chocolate liqueur, eggnog, and peppermint schnapps.
Cap cocktail shaker and shake for 15 seconds. If you are planning on serving one of the drinks on ice, add 2 cubes of ice now.
Divide and strain the liquid between the two glasses.
Add whipped cream to each glass and sprinkle on the garnish.
Sip
Smile
Enjoy

Although I'm partial to the Godiva brand, there are other white chocolate liqueurs, so use whatever brand you prefer.
If you have a Whole Foods near you, I recommend their stellar, tasty eggnog. If you don't shop at Whole Foods, get the best quality eggnog you can find.
This cocktail is usually served without ice but I'm just as fond of it with. Try it both ways to see which you prefer.
The garnish for this cocktail is a dollop of whipped cream and the rainbow sprinkles, or nonpareils, used to decorate cupcakes. I'm also using some edible gold hearts, but those are optional.
