Gather the ingredients – strawberries and vodka.

Wash the strawberries, dry them, and use the huller or knife to take off the leaf and the stem under it. Slice the strawberries lengthwise and place the slices in the jar. Fill it halfway with the fruit.

Pour the vodka in the jar and over the strawberries until the jar is half full and the strawberries are covered.

Cap the jar and gently shake the ingredients together.
