Best Pesto Sauce

This delicious basil, parsley pesto spread is so versatile and you can use it in many dishes or just on a piece of bread!

Ingredients

  • 6 cups basil fresh, loosely packed
  • 2 cups parsley fresh, loosely packed
  • 1/2 cup walnuts
  • 1/2 cup pistachios
  • 3 tablespoons lemon juice usually one small lemon
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup olive oil

Instructions

  • Grab your food processor
  • Measure out the basil
  • Measure out the parsley
  • Set aside
  • Place the nuts in food processor and process for 1 minute or until nuts are right size
  • Add parsley, basil, salt, olive oil and lemon juice
  • Process until smooth and creamy
  • Taste to see if it needs more lemon juice, salt or oil
  • Put in glass jar or container
  • Enjoy
