Frose | Strawberry Rosé Cocktail

This Frosé recipe is a frozen rosé cocktail that’s fruity, refreshing, and incredibly easy to make. With frozen rosé wine, fresh fruit, vodka, and a splash of grenadine, this icy drink is perfect for cooling off on warm days. Serve it at brunch, happy hour, or any summer gathering.

Notes

Helpful tips

  • Rosé pairs perfectly with strawberries, but you can use any berry in this cocktail.
  • Another great combination is a watermelon frosé.
  • Be sure to wash your strawberries thoroughly, as they are one of the top fruits grown with heavy pesticide use. Use a little unscented, natural foaming hand soap and gently rub the strawberries between your hands. Rinse well before using.
  • Make sure to fill your ice cube trays with rosé at least 8 hours before you need them; overnight is best.
  • I use a large siliconeice cube tray, but a normal-sized tray is also okay.
  • You don’t need an expensive rosé, so try it with a mid-level wine.
  • Using grenadine not only adds a pretty deep red color, but it is sweet, so you don't have to use simple syrup.
  • Use a good blender, but if you don’t have a good one, you’ll need to process it for a longer time.
  • Adjust the amount of ice cubes to your taste; the more ice cubes, the thicker the cocktail will be.
  • You can also use frozen strawberries in this cocktail, but I prefer fresh strawberries.
