- 2 ounces Patron Silver tequila (or any other tequila)
- 1 ounce Cointreau (or triple sec)
- 2 ounces lime juice freshly squeezed
- 1/2 ounce simple syrup ( 1/2 to 1 ounce)
Garnish
- lime wheel (cut a slit in it so you can put it on a glass)
- salt for rim (optional)
If wanted, wet rim of glass with some simple syrup and dip it in some salt
Fill cocktail shaker 1/2 way with ice
Add tequila, Cointreau, lime juice and simple syrup
Cap shaker and shake for 30 seconds. Pour contents
Pour contents in glass without touching the salted rim
