Fruity White Sangria
A refreshing twist on traditional sangria, this fruity white sangria recipe celebrates flavors and colors. Crisp white wine pairs beautifully with a medley of luscious fruits, creating a drink that’s delightful to the palate and a feast for the eyes.
This beverage promises to make you enjoy your weekend, perfect for summer gatherings, picnics, or just a relaxing afternoon by the pool. Chilled to perfection, every sip offers a burst of sweetness and a hint of zesty citrus.
This white sangria is so delicious and filled with lots of fruit—but not so much that you will lament how little sangria is in the glass! Nothing is worse than lifting your glass of sangria and having pieces of fruit hit you in the face while sipping a thimbleful!

Many people think more fruit equals better sangria. While the fruit does help the flavor when it steeps, you only want to add enough to garnish when you serve it. Of course, one must have a few pieces of alcohol-soaked fruit left over to nibble. Mustn’t one?

Helpful tips
- Make this the night before so the flavors meld together.
- Wash your jar with hot, soapy water and let air dry.
- Thoroughly wash the fruit in the sangria; you don’t want to ingest pesticides.
- I wash my fruit with a natural, unscented hand soap. I usually place the fruit in a strainer and run cold water over them. Then I take the soap in my hand, grab some of the fruit, and rub my hands over it. I then rinse the soap off the fruit and let it drain in the strainer.
- You don’t have to stick with the fruit I picked for this white wine sangria. Here are some great additions: apples, mango, other berries—like raspberries or blackberries—lemon, grapefruit, or other fresh fruit.
- I’m using Cointreau in this recipe, but other good choices are triple sec if you’re budget-conscious or Grand Marnier if you really want to splurge.
- I use sauvignon blanc because it’s not too sweet. Another good choice is pinot grigio. My advice is to not use Chardonnay as it’s too sweet.
How to make fruity white sangria
Pre-step
Get a large jar. I use a 64-ounce Ball jar. I also get a large pitcher for when I serve the sangria.
Step one
Gather the ingredients – white wine, strawberries, blueberries, orange, peach, and lime. (A)
Step two
Slice the peach, orange, and lime into thin wheels. Also, slice the strawberries. Place them in the clean jar along with blueberries. (B)
Step three
Pour the whole bottle of wine into the jar to meet up with the fruit.
Step four
Get the apricot brandy, orange liqueur, and club soda. (C)
Step five
Add 1 cup apricot brandy and 1/2 cup Cointreau and 8 ounces of club soda. (D)
Step six
Cap the jar, give it a good shake, and put it in the fridge overnight.
The next day, add ice to a pitcher, pour the sangria in and give it a brisk stir.
Now, to serve it!
Tulip glasses really showcase this fruity white sangria. But you can also use white wine glasses.
Add more ice to the glasses along with freshly cut fruit.
Cut a slit in the bottom of a few strawberries for garnish. Add on to the side of each glass.
Time to garnish the white wine sangria with a strawberry!
M-m-m-mmmmmm. Time to drink it all up!

Ingredients
The Good Stuff
- 1 bottle Sauvignon Blanc or white wine of choice. I like a dry wine
- 1 cup apricot brandy
- 1/2 cup Cointreau or triple sec
- 8 ounces club soda and some extra if peeps want in in their drink
- 1 peach cut in slices
- 1 orange cut into wheels
- 1 lime cut into wheels
- 5 strawberries cut into slices
- 1/2 cup blueberries
Garnish
- strawberries (with a slit cut in the bottom)
Instructions
Make it
- Add fruit in jar1 peach, 1 orange, 1 lime, 5 strawberries, 1/2 cup blueberries, strawberries
- Add wine, apricot brandy, Cointreau and club soda1 bottle Sauvignon Blanc, 1 cup apricot brandy, 1/2 cup Cointreau, 8 ounces club soda
- Cap jar and refrigerate for at least 6 hours if not overnight
- Add ice to a pitcher as well as the contents of the jar
- Add more ice to tulip glasses and some fruit, not too much of either
- Pour white sangria in glass
- Add garnish
- Sip
- Smile
- Be refreshed
- Enjoy
